Since 1965, Deer Lake School has been providing exceptional Christian education, nurturing children to become life-long learners and responsible, loving global citizens. Join us as we celebrate with hundreds of previous students, staff, friends and supporters of Deer Lake School. Let’s reconnect, share stories and honour the amazing men and women who have helped create this 50 year legacy of achievement.
Our weekend will be about great food and conversation, complimented with performances by alumni SWAT teams, JSJC, the school Jazz Band, Junior and Senior Choirs and Theatre Arts students. You will hear from previous principals Ian Pong (’87-’93) and Murray Cooper (’95-’98), and alumni Dr. Ronald Elloway (’65-75), learn about the accomplishments of dozens of staff, volunteers and students over the past 50 years . . . and be inspired with Deer Lake’s plans for the future.
Who Should Attend
Everyone who loves Deer Lake School is welcome! If you ever attended Deer Lake School (even if it was just for one year), you are considered alumni! And all staff, parents of students, board members, friends and supporters of the school are a huge part of the celebration.
The weekend is designed to be family-friendly. There will be a full children’s program provided during the weekend, including pre-school child care.
All meals and activities will be free.
